The Provost's Undergraduate Awards for Research and Creativity are grants available to undergraduate students at CSU, Chico to complete original projects under the guidance of faculty mentors. Congratulations to Jonathan Challinger!

First Annual CSU Chico Programming Contest
Contestants were divided into two divisions. Those who have completed or are currently enrolled in CSCI 311 competed in Division I. Those who have completed or are currently enrolled in CSCI 111 or CSCI 211 competed in Division II. First place in each division won a netbook. Second place in each division won a Wii Sports Plus. Third place won a $50 BestBuy Gift Certificate. All prizes were donated by sponsors. Special thanks go to the members of the CSU Chico ACM Student Chapter. 2010 Scholarship Awards - Each summer the Executive Council of Upsilon Pi Epsilon evaluates a large number of scholarship applications from students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. All scholarship applicants are required to complete a comprehensive application form including a statement on their long-term plans for the profession, a summary of their contributions to their respective UPE chapters and related student activities at their university. Applicants are also required to submit all college-level transcripts and a recommendation from the UPE faculty adviser. Congratulations to Kevin Kane!
